REBIENNALE is a collaborative platform created by Venetian citizens, students, architects, artists and political activists for sharing methods, procedures and skills in the field of self-building, to describe what an architectural project is unable to illustrate and what the Establishment refuses to see: the emergence from the foundations, of living as a common way of doing. The project was born during the 11th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice thanks to the synergy between curators, architects and local collectives, active in experimenting innovative solutions for emergency housing. Our work focused on the enormous amount of waste produced by the exhibition and the innovative project we suggested aimed to reuse waste materials for a shared project of urban regeneration.

Since 2008 we have developed several collaboration workshops with professionals and international institutions.
