Trópico: Fabricación Colaborativa

TRÓPICO is a network that links materials discarded by large industries with local communities, generating open source design objects with manufacturing instructions that are accessible for their use, manufacture and modification by any other community via the internet.


FORMOSA is an architectural and design studio founded by Karen Antorveza and Francesco Milano, based in Buenos Aires. In 2015, the TaMaCo (Building Materials and Construction Workshop) project began as a space open tothe public and dedicated to research in design and architecture, equipped with digital and traditional manufacturing tools. Their practice is interdependent and collaborative, seeking to actively involve the public as participants and collaborators in the on-going realization of their projects.
